My son has developed a sense of confidence and focus through the patient instruction of Master Shin. I highly recommend his student-centered teaching approach through encouragement and respect. With the adult students, Master Shin is a great motivator. As with the kids, he is able to adapt to all types of learning styles and physical abilities. The knowledge and purpose behind the techniques he teaches makes you appreciate the art of taekwondo. His enthusiasm and dedication to the sport is infectious, and he provides the tools you need to see continuous improvement. The element I appreciate most about BBA is the feeling of community they promote. Despite being an adult new to the sport and in a class with Black Belts, I was genuinely welcomed and made to feel comfortable in an environment that could otherwise be intimidating.
