Our Headmaster
Master Shin has a distinguished Taekwondo career, spanning over two decades. Currently a 6th Degree Black Belt, his professional journey began with admission to Yong-In University's Taekwondo Department in 2005 (Class of 2012). From 2006 to 2008, Master Shin served as the Taekwondo Drillmaster for the Korea Army's 20 Division Maintenance Battalion.
He represented the Korea Army in various divisions. Notably, he competed both in Korea and in the US, earning a gold medal in Forms (Poomsae) at the ROK-US Friendship Taekwondo Exhibition and a Silver Medal in the Gyeonggi Province Governor’s Cup Championship.
He pursued advanced education through the America Internship Taekwondo Master Program, earning a Certificate of Education from Kukkiwon in 2011. Through Master Park's Black Belt America he coached several state champions and national medalists. Master Shin opened his Taekwondo school in Princeton Junction in 2022.
Our Grandmaster
Grandmaster Haeng Soon Park is a Korean national champion, instructor in the Korean Police and Military academies and 8th Degree Black Belt with over 45 years of experience and knowledge in the martial arts industry.
Grandmaster Park came to the United States in 1986 and in 1989 he opened the first of five schools. Grandmaster Park, who began training in Taekwondo at the age of 5, became very active within the U.S. Taekwondo Union in 1990. He was instrumental in facilitating the growth of Taekwondo in the United States. This involvement culminated with Grandmaster Park being named the coach of the 1994 U.S. National Taekwondo team.
Grandmaster Park's achievements include:
- Currently serving as the President of the Korean-American Sports Association of New Jersey and Vice-President of the Greater New York Taekwondo Association.
- President of the East Coast World Champion Association.
- Member of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and the New Jersey State Taekwondo Association.
- Co-founder of the Korean New Jersey Sports Association.
- Extensive coaching experience with Olympic athletes.
- Holds the status of International Referee in Taekwondo.
